Acupuncturist

Tanja Dehne, L.Ac. is a California state licensed acupuncturist and herbalist. She is nationally certified as a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).

Tanja is a first-generation American (Norwegian mother and German father), a Bay Area native, and has been living in San Francisco for 18 years. She spent childhood summers outdoors, some in the incredible nature of Norway, and also hiking with her mom in the hills of California. It was a combination of this and her mother’s influence in using natural, folk remedies, that eventually brought her to study Traditional Chinese Medicine with a particular interest in herbal formulations. 

Tanja has been practicing now for 10 years, and continually falls in love with the ways that this medicine brings positive change in people’s lives. She is am particularly passionate about the profound impact that this medicine has in optimizing women's health, as well as conception. She loves supporting women and or men with their fertility goals and supporting pregnancy and the postnatal time.
